The art piece above is called styrogami. This was a whole new thing for me, as I had never even thought of using styrofoam for art. Because of that fact, this piece was a challenge, but that was a problem that I was able to solve, making this piece a huge success. Next time I would have left the bottom of the styrofoam cup attached, as I could then use it as a sort of jack-o-lantern, so that light could shine through the eye holes.
The clay piece above, has been my favorite piece so far. I have always enjoyed using clay, as I enjoyed being able to mold a lump, into anything I desired. The only new thing I learned from this was the thimble theory, as I like to call it. By pushing your thumb into two pieces of clay, making two sort of thimble shapes and putting them together, and making a hole to the outside, you could create a good body for an animal, such as a fish. I was successful in my attempt at making the body, but next time, I would like a better plan of what I was going to make, instead of going on instinct.
My final art piece was called land art. What we had to do was take part of the land, and make it into art. It could have been taking leaves and organizing them into a face, or something of the sort. What we did was take the leaves of a pine tree, and organize them into a star, with a flower petal as the centerpiece. This was totally new, and a challenge, but was okay, but next time, I would like to make the piece more natural, by not having to move any part of nature.
