Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend a multi-day event, known as SparkCon. SparkCon is an art festival, where artists are given a certain area on the ground to create a masterpiece. The one above shows multiple different flags from countries around the world with the title "Where will your travels take you?", and in my case, my travels took me to SparkCon. Because this is a relatively big event, located on Fayeteville street, in Raleigh, North Carolina, I was bound to see somebody I knew, and I did. I saw some family friends, and a good friend from middle school, and then, my travels took me to somewhere else.
Next, with my friend Timmy O'Neil that I ran into from SparkCon, traveled down to the original Krispy Kreme doughnut shop. While there we each got a doughnut, and caught up with each other, and what we were doing at SparkCon. He had tried to create a picture on the pavement, but because of the unfortunate weather (rain), his turned into an abstract water color painting, while I was visiting just for fun, and to look at the art. |
