Usually when creating art, I do my best to come up with original ideas, but since the theme was Artist STEAL, my job was made a little easier. I had seen videos of artists filling bubbles of bubble wrap with either paints or liquids, and I wanted to try. Unfortunately, I hit a wall as I needed a thin needle to inject the paint, but couldn't find one(so maybe this is an original idea). Then I decided to do the next best thing, paint on top. Then I completed that and got my final project.
By taking on the task of trying to fill bubbles or paint on top of them I was taking a risk. This was an object that I had never used when making art, so I was slightly hesitant. I tried using a different type of paint for each color, because I was unsure of how well the paint would stay on the bubbles. One kind of paint did dry up, which made the piece look less appealing as time went on, so I improvised. I popped the green bubbles with the drying paint, and then the bubble was flat, so the paint stayed on. That was a risk as well, so my main project was one big risk, but it was a risk worth taking as the end product turned out fantastically.
